Replace all screws and ensure that no stray screws remain inside your computer. Connect any external devices, peripherals, or cables you removed before working on your computer.

  • Page 16 Using a plastic scribe, pry and release the tabs on the base cover from the slots on the palm-rest assembly. Lift the base cover from the palm-rest assembly. Disconnect the battery cable from the system board. Press and hold the power button for 5 seconds to ground the system board.
