▶ Attaching The Dust Extractor
Hose
Insert hose 26 into port 2 and twist
until it clicks (Fig. 2). The canister's 2-
1/4" hose port also accepts many
friction-fit dust extractor hoses,
including most 1-1/4" hoses, 1-1/2"
hoses, 2-1/2" hoses and other Bosch
hoses. (See 'Attachments', page 17 and
18).
▼ ATTACHINg THE Y-CONNECTOR
The Y-connector (sold separately) has a
main connector sleeve to fit the dust
extractor port and has two (2) sleeve fit
connectors for dust extractor hoses.
Insert the main connector sleeve of Y-
connector into the dust extractor port

Insert each dust extractor hose into the
sleeve fit of the Y connector by twisting
the hose connector.
▶ Dust Collection Options
There are four dust collection
options: fully enclosed filter bag, fully
enclosed wet slurry bag, plastic bag
or no bag.
A filter must be installed whether or
not a bag is used.
