    The following instructions explain how to launch the Setup Wizard using your Mac computer. Step 1: Insert the DNR-312L installation CD into the CD-ROM drive, and go to the CD drive directory. Double-click the Mac Utility folder to enter. Step 2: Double-click the DNR-312L Setup Wizard file to launch the wizard, which will guide you through the complete installation process.

    Section 3 - Configuration Interface Firmware Upgrade You can update the firmware and device pack for your DNR-312L from this section. We recommend that you keep firmware up-to-date for improved performance of the NVR. To update the firmware, you must save the firmware update to a USB drive, then connect it to the NVR’s USB port.

    Hard Drive You can format the HDD and the USB drive for your DNR-312L in this section. You can also eject the USB drive from here. Under HDD, click Format to format the hard drive. Formatting will erase all data on the hard drive.
