Operation and maintenance
CAUTION
Danger due to electric shock or moving parts
▶ Disconnect the power supply before carrying out any maintenance
work.
▶ Have any maintenance steps that are not listed here carried out by an
approved contractor.
You can find information on operating the indoor units in the
corresponding operating instructions.
3.1
Selecting the operation mode
If you are operating two units at the same time, both must be in the same
operating mode. Heating mode always has priority. If you set one unit to
heating mode, all other units can only be used in heating mode.
Example: if the first unit to be started is running in cooling or Fan Mode,
all other appliances can be switched on in any operating mode apart
from heating mode. As soon as one unit switches to heating mode, all
other appliances switch off and indicate a fault: "−−" appears in the
display or the Auto and ON indicator flash, the defrost indicator is off and
the timer indicator is permanently on.
3.2
